Character Models

Is there any way to force the client to allow me to have more character models turned on? I'm talking about when choosing in the options, before connecting. Right now it suggests for me to have 2, and will allow me to have 3. If I try 4 or more, it won't let me continue. It says I won't have enough memory to run it, which I know I will. This vid card has more memory than my other computer, which is having the same issue.

My other computer used to run EQ Live with all character models on, and most video options maxed (like far clip plane in game, etc.)

Any suggestions? I'd like to see the characters all using the new models.

Go into your eqclient.ini file and change these line to the opposite of what I have here;

Open the file with notepad Word and Wordpad will muck it up.

The above is right on. If you're intimidated by editing .ini files, you can also go back to the select screen, select the wanted models, and hit enter instead of clicking next to proceed. Although editing your .ini file will be much quicker.
