Character corruption bug strikes again

Just a few minutes ago my Froglok warrior Gwuk was destroyed in a horrible accident that transformed him into an invisible thing and gave him the new name of 00_golemparts. I saw the message that asked those who suffered the bug to ask for help on IRC, but in my timezone I can never seem to find a GM, so I have to try to catch attention on the forums. Is there any way to get in contact with a GM to fix this?

My friend had the same problem two days ago with one of his characters and couldn't get help either with a /petition or on IRC, so it seems that until we get a GM to help us out, we're both stuck. It's an evil bug and children everywhere are crying. Save our characters - do it for the children.
 
Thanks, Gwuk lives again! And yes, Kazon was my friend's corrupted character... spookily accurate guessing skills there. I'll check on IRC now to see if I can find you, though if I can't you'll see this post.

Anyway, I believe we both lost our characters zoning into Paineel (live name; I can never remember what it's called on WR, old names tend to stick around.) Whether that's a coincidence or something wrong with the zone I can't say. I know I went through many times without problems before it happened.

The problem you experienced appears to be totally random. i.e. It's not Paineel that did this to you.
