All you need to install is the original everquest - PoP, LoY, LDoN and other expansions aren't needed. Follow the setup guide for instructions...
Basic synapse is - after everquest is installed, run the Live Patcher Program (this is the ONLY time you will patch to Live). You will be able to choose what expansions to download - so even if you didnt pay for LoY, etc - you can still download the files for them. So download the appropriate expansions for WR and be sure to include optional zones when patching from Live.
