Casual play?

Hi everyone, I am new to SoD and never played on it in any of its previous incarnations but I am starting to miss EQ but don't really want another subscription fee. What I was wondering is, do people play casually on SoD? Is it fun/possible to just login for an hour or so? And, how hard is it to get groups? Is it more of a solo thing?
 
Good game for casual gaming. Getting groups tends to depend on level and playing time. You can two box on one computer pretty easily making it easier to play solo. Very friendly group of players.

I don't know if I'd count 2 boxing under the casual statisic. :)

Sometimes it can be hard to find a group to be honest. Some of it is luck, some timing, some making friends. BUt with small playtimes, your friends might level beyond you.
 
Casual. Surely. I'm a casual 'gamer' if you can even call me a gamer. Sometimes its hard to find a group, but it can be much easier if you play during the night. As expected, its easier for lower lvls to find groups...seeing that there are more of them.
 
i agree with Arif.

I soloed alot but once i realised you where allowed to use 2 characters at once i started doing that and its ALOT more fun and a bit easier. So its solo heaven imo.

As for finding groups, im not really sure. I enjoy soloing so much i used to just do that until i joined a guild.

But yeah, i think its alot more casual friendly than EQ. Its also alot better than EQ in almost every aspect.
