Carbonite Ore

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the carbonite ore subquest for the Silver Crown branch of the main quest? I have turned in well over 80 pieces of ore and my faction wont budge, nor does the quest complete.

(I'm going by the information on the wiki that states 40 pieces completes that portion of the quest)

Any help is welcome!
 
I have done all of the quests, this one just doesn't seem to want to complete for me.

(found and lead the guy out of the goblin cave, and maxed out the cooks quests)

I'm only having issues on this Ore quest for some reason.
 
I did that part like 2-3 weeks ago and had no problems, turned in 40 ores.... But Im not sure if it said "quest completed" or whatever to state that I had turned in enough. I could advance in rank and thats all I wanted...
 
Did your faction actually change? He still keeps asking for more ore from me, and I'll frequently go check to see if i can continue the main quest but it still wont let me. I know for certain that I have completed the other two parts of the Silver Crown sub-quest, i.e. Find/escort the lost expedition survivor from the cave, and fully completed the cooks quest until he would take no more turn ins.

I'll turn in a couple more stacks of ore and see what happens. If that doesn't work, it looks like I wont be completing the main quest line unfortunately. =(

Uhmmm, since I could advance in rank at SC Igot all faction that was needed from turning 40 ores in. You dont have to totally complete all quests for SC to do MQ. Go and hail the guy next to thecook and ask for promotion, then you can continue MQ. Or is he refusing you a promotion?
