Currently, Captain Talvig in Eastern Wastes is on a 1 week respawn.

The problem that I have with this mob is that to any ordinary level 50, it seems like he's a named that drops loot and there is no reason not to kill him. He is used to spawn a ring war that requires a raid force and really isn't a trivial thing, you get one shot and if you fuck it up you're done for a week.

In the last month he's been killed twice by people not attempting the ring war and just because they think he's a named.

What I would like to request is that this mob remain invulnerable until the ring war is spawned and then at that time he's killable ( since the drakes try to kill him)..

Having him killed by someone who thinks he's a named and having that bottle neck the people trying to do the quest for an entire week just sucks really.

That would create more of a problem than him being killed already is. Thanks for your suggestion, next time you have one please keep it to yourself
 
Good to see a degree of humour is still about. Could have a go at making him immune to run speed changes and make him move faster than normal :)
