Can't View Merchant/Vendor Inventory

I just patched eq live and repatched the help files over here, but can't view any merchants. I was wondering if this was a known bug or if this is the first anyone has heard of it. If it's known, is there any way to fix it? Thanks!

No, it was during day. I still can't view them.

I have this same problem, yet my brother who installed everything the same way I have and on the same lan.. and at the same time did not have this problem... So can't think of what the difference is.


btw great support Forum, I have thus far found an answer for every problem getting the game up and running.

One advantage of having to work through so many things to get it up and running, it's a great idiot filter.

im having the same problem with vendor inventory...someone said redownload and put the ui files in...but ive done that and still nothing happens...anyone else have an idea for this?

I just had the same problem . Can't see any vendor inventories. I tried camping, rezoning, restarting eq..

I just ran the Hot Fix : http://www.wintersroar.com/files/WRFix.zip

Drop that in the EQ folder. It worked for me >=D

which eq folder...i think ive put it in every section but i still see nothing on vendors.

any other ideas? also does putting wrfix in several more folders than its sposed to be harmful???i know i put it in wrong folders but i dont know which..

Just out in the main folder... no subfolders within it. :roll:

none that i know of... didn't exactly explore other options after the hot fix took care of it.

Just re-download wrfix and un zip it into eq directory, this should cure the problem, it did mine. The default ui.file is what seems to be bugged, think mine was corrupt. When I re-downloaded it, I got a different file size and all and it works great now, thanks to the gm's who helped me figure out the problem, took us about an hour to figure it out.
