can't log into game account

The accounts name is jew_nose_it with one character, Drizzly on it.

No caps lock isn't on
Yes I've reset the password serveral times and tried all of them
Yes I've tried the original password after resetting it
Yes I've tried changing the password to other things
No nothing is working every time I get the message EQMu Error: Bad username/password

edit: also today I made an account jew-nose-it, after that is when I couldn't log on to jew_nose_it anymore. Also the email I provided for jew-nose-it it not receiving any emails from SoD, possibly because its an aol.com email.

Ok. I'm guessing the _ and - are issues for sql. Could be in the php calls to convert.

I'll have to modify the create account system to not let people use those characters, although why in the world you'd want to create a "jew_nose_it" AND "jew-nose-it" account. Would the next one be "jew-nose_it"?

Anyway, it's fixed. You can login again. I had to change your account name though.

Please try going through the password recovery system again. The accounts you listed are on two different email systems, neither of which is aol.com.

No, can't really tell you what emails they use, as that is a security breach. All we can do is email you the passwords, which is what you'd get if you use the recovery system anyway.
 
yeah i did something weird with the email adresses...

but jew_nose_it should be hooked up to a gmail account, thats where all the mail was getting sent.

Also yeah I was wondering if the _s were problems. I made a third accoutn with the name nick_cherry...is the underscore gonna cause problems for that one? So far its working out fine....

The problem was that you had one account jew_nose_it and another jew-nose-it.

I've not verified specifically why it broke things, but there's a php function that's used to block attempts at sql exploits. All user entered data is passed through that function. It's likely that the problem is caused by that function.

Either way, don't pick account names where the only differences are - and _.
