Can't Log In

I got on after the patch today and went Link Dead while zoning into Great Divide. Now whenever i try to log onto any of my accounts, it just waits a while and then says "Can not log into blah blah blah. Please try again shortly. Its been like this for a while now. Any wayto fix? It's error 1001 btw,
 
I have not been able to log in since I left for the patch either, I get the 1001 error as well. Also it seems the eqemulator site is down ... I am guessing that thier whole network is down ?

Sad to say I am glad to see I am not the only one with this problem.

has anyone been able to get on or is just a select few? Please post if you have been able to get on.
 
Oh sorry ... the EQemulator website and login servers are down NO ETA ... they say the next one to ask will be punished ... lol. Just have to wait it out I am afraid.
 
Punish me oh developers of greatness for I have asked an ETA after being told not to.
