Cant get past EULA

Donkey_Kong

OK i have 1 problem

When i click play on the sod patcher (its patched and everything, i clicked advanced an all that) it starts to run EQ and the EULA pops up (as it does in regular game). Well i move my mouse to click accept and its not in the program!! the EQ mouse is above the EULA and the desktop mouse can move around in the background clicking my desktop items (i figured out by accidentally running word ). I tried Ctrl+alt+del to try and minimize but it wouldnt and when i moved mouse over the task manager it would flash in and out of the black by the EULA. the only way i could exit was by getting lucky on the "end task" button clicking randomly. :(

If any help please.......

Im not trying to exit EQ with task manager, im trying to get it to run.

The eula pops up and i cant click accept. Thats all.

You're probably not using the correct version of EQW, try using the one provided (eqw2.35a) in a folder located in your EQ directory.

Userd to have this issue and all I needed to do was click the mouse a couple times not caring where it was and it would sort itself out.

Got the same problem after re-patching from live (the EULA that was displayed was from EQLive).
Could not click anything.

In order to fix it, I did run the SoD Patcher, -> "Advanced" -> "Repatch All"
Now the SoD Eula displays again, and mouse is usable too.

Now I got another error after trying to login: error 1001
Gotta see what's the problem (telnet to 209.172.32.20:5997 works fine though). Bah, I'll check it out later ;P

Every time you patch from live, you must re-patch all on the SoD patcher. If you don't do this, it will take you into Live but you won't be able to click the EULA and then you're pretty much screwed.

There used to be a hot fix that you always had to unzip after using the Live patcher but I guess that no longer exists and you have to do it this way now.

I believe the "hotfix" went the way of the dodo based on number of supprot issues from improper unzipping of said fix which seemed to cause a lot of confusion and such for the masses.

I have exactly the same problem with the EULA, yet I just need to know if there is any solution for this problem except clicking few times until it works.
