Can't get into IRC

Not sure if it is down atm, if my firewall is a problem, or if IE doesnt work...

Do I need a seperate program?

All I get with IE when I slick on the IRC link from main page is "The page cannot be displayed"

You need an IRC client installed, most commonly used is mIRC.

I mistakenly thought IE would be able to do it.

I installed mIRC and everythign was fine.
