I need to get an armored chitin for Atavism quests - Part I. I have been killing every Kish-Ka enemy I can handle all night and I have not gotten one chitin. On the SoDWiki It said that they are only dropped by Kish-Ka skitterers, which I can not find in this zone, and I have not found any Kish-Ka in the areas Ive dared to venture in the next.

I saw a lot of different Kish-Ka while I was hunting there. I ran up and down looking in all of the rooms and hunting them from levels 1-5. For several hours another player and myself were hunting together and neither of us found one.
We are not big enough to take on some of the bigger enemies yet, but all the same I found none titled 'skitterer'

My experience with the zone is based off play time on an alt rogue some 18 months or so ago. I didn't find the items for the rogue line particularly rare. But the zone's nice xp adj meant that I was having to farm for items after I had leveled past them. This is fairly common in lower level quest lines.
Unfortunately, most players move their characters to newport to level. so I don't know how many have done this line.

One trick I used for these quests is to help the Kish-Ka (by killing the Valk first) when there is a battle between them and the Valk. This allows the Kish-Ka to win so that they do a full spawn in the alcoves. I'm not sure if the skitterers spawn in a particular alcove or if it is random...
