Cannot Log In

Well, got everything to patch and run, but it will not allow me to log in. Log in server down or something? It says I have a bad username and or password, yet I tried to use both my SOE account and the account I used to register to SoD, neither have worked.
 
Your account from EQLive won't work here. Entirely different game. Unless you set a different username/pass for the forums, chances are you can use your forum user/pass to log into your account. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're new here. If that's the case, you can just go to the front page, www.shardsofdalaya.com and register a new account to make sure you have the right name and pass.

If it's saying you have the wrong username / pass, it sounds like the server isn't down, but in general you should check the SoD IRC channel (irc://shardsofdalaya.com then /join #sod) for server status if you think there might be problems.
 
Thank you for replying. Indeed I am new here, and I did expect it to be requring a whole different account. I will try to re-register with a new account and a new email adress to make sure I am correct. I will reply shortly once I am finished with some results.

I have made a new account under the same email address, and it appears to be working. Thank you for your helpful assistance.
