Can not get desired resolution of 1680x1050

I recently changed video cards (from a sadly disappointing GeForce 7100, to a GeForce 6600), removed old drivers, installed new drivers, and am now unable to run SoD at 1680x1050, which is the default resolution of my 22in widescreen monitor. I had no trouble running this resolution with my 7100 installed. If I attempt to change my resolution to 1680x1050, SoD appears to minimize, and I only see my desktop. After 30 seconds (the amount of time I have to click the "yes" or "no" button to save my settings) my SoD screen reappears at whatever resolution it was previously set at. Any help would be greatly desired and appreciated.

Set it to a pretty big resolution, then when the window comes up, just move it to the very center of the screen and press yes. Then change it to whatever resolution you want, and the option box should remain in the center.

Could also try setting it in the eqclient.ini file'

Look for this:

[VideoMode]
BitsPerPixel=32
Width=1024
Height=768
RefreshRate=0

and change it to what you want save and start up eq..

Thanks for the tips, I tried all of those things. Looks like it was a corrupted file within the SoD folder, as copying the entire folder over from my hubby's box fixed the problem.
