Can EverQuest Titanium be used on the fresh install?

Hey all.

Well, I am interested in playing here but the copy of EverQuest I have is EverQuest Titanium(has 10 expansion included in it) Will I be able to to still follow the follow the setup guide located here and play even though the files for the expansions are in the EQ folder? Just need to know this before I start the process and can SoD run with the current Live patch as well?

You absolutely CAN use Titanium as the basis for installing/following the startup guide. Welcome to the server.

And as far as 'the most current live' patch... um... do whatever the install doc says for SoD. I THINK it says install whatever version of EQ you have, patch completely to live, including all the expansions up to GoD... then get the SoD patcher, and patch your install from that.

A question of my own(my computer's acting flaky so till I can get it fixed I'm not going with an install), is Titanium going to give the infamous sro zone error?

It shouldn't as far as I know since the Ro and FP zones were changed pretty recently on live and Titanium is out way longer now. Not 100% sure on this.

Titanium has worked fine for me; i've been able to zone in just fine to nro and sro.
