Little tailoring advice
You are better off skipping the balsam entirely, as it is the most difficult component to gather, with the exception of tangleweed.
The bearskins for reinforced and studded reinforced are a much easier (and cheaper) way to get skillups. Use the balsam only as a last resort, or save it for when you reach 180 and you can start gettign skillups on sharkskin shoulders.
Nightshade/black blood and direleaf/bat blood will get you the ointments for the cougar/panther/hopper/drake armor, and it will save you a lot of headaches.
