Bug or Joke?

"Helpy Helper"
So one of our officer's Ayca was locked in a shop (with her lowbie Rogue Aliasha), and we sent our guild Rogue, Razikor to rescue her. In the mean time Onadan, our guild leader (who I'd like to add is a WOOD ELF), had gated back to Newport to pick up Raz and his Cleric Revkah to join us on a treasure hunt. Aliasha (who is also Onadan's sister in real life), was like WTF ... TRAITOR! :?

Was this a bug or someone being funny? Either way it made us laugh. :D
 
In my days on The Company's servers:

I was in uberguild A, for about a year. We were bitter rivals with uberguild B.
Back in the days of Luclin first debuting, we were trying for a server first on Arch Lich (before they gimped him), we died, often.

Upon zoning on death, I popped into bazaar and was an officer in the other uberguild. Except I didn't realize it, because I had gone afk while zoning. I got back to a lot of confused tells, needless to say. It doesn't make any sense, but apparently something in the Database fubard.

The moral of the story: If you're ever swapped into your arch rival's guild; taunt them mercilessly until you're guildremoved, then go rejoin your guild's raid and kill the mob! :p

HAH good story! Only, Onny guildstated himself and showed he was the Leader of Revelation, but when Aliasha guildstated him it showed he was an officer of Friends of the Devil (which I might add we have no qualm with let a lone a rivalry :hug: ). Not sure if that rules out a bug though ...
 
That's ok, yesterday when I logged on my pet was a Dark Elf Cleric level 15 and showed up in the /who list. I even had myself get hurt a little and sure enough my pet was healing me, so I zoned to see if it was a new bug and once that happened my pet turned back to normal.

There are a number of random bugs like this where even NPCs become guilded, or take names of players.
