BST Newbie Armor Quests?

I started a Barb BST, and can't seem to find a GM in Halas that will give any quests.

Does BST Newbie Armor exist? If so, what am I missing.

I've tried hailing her, but she doesn't respond, at all.

I've used her to train up, but she doesn't speak to me.
 
She never responded to you from the time you made the beastlord? What level are you? Do you have a 10 slot box in your inventory that she gives you?
 
Last time I hailed her, I was level 9 (now 10). I've never received a 10 slot box from her. I've been able to get the orc headband quest from the frost guard captain, and some other quests from Halas, so don't think my character is bugged.
 
I just made a new beastlord character to see if its still not working and she does not respond to hails. (12:37pm CST, Oct 5)

Good to know that I wasn't doing anything screwy, bad to know that it's not working.
 
Yeah, she is bugged in several ways. I have a tunic material ready to turn in but she just gives it back. If it wasn't the correct item it would not have been able to combine in the box so I know it was correct. I have petitioned and turned it in on the bug list. Wiz even toyed with her for a bit one day till I had to log out.

Patience with her is all we can do. The quest rewards are better then studded armor with stats. Very much worth the time and effort to do them. Pantherskin is the replacement for this armor on my BST.
