Frogs get high from licking eachother. No booze necessary!! 
Before this thread sinks into oblivion, would it be possible to get a serious reply to this as well? Something like
a) Irys the brewer is supposed to sell brewing supplies, not just alcoholic drinks. We'll adjust this as soon as there's time.
b) One of the Frogloks in that tavern is supposed to sell brewing supplies, not just alcoholic drinks. We'll adjust this as soon as there's time.
c) We already fixed this with the last patch. Keep your eyes open!

on a related note: halas, erudin and thurgadin don't have a brewing vendor either, but a barrel. (at least last time i was there)
underhill has a brewing vendor but not a single barrel.
i have no idea if that is intentional, just bringing it up.
another thing that i doubt if it is intentional:
halas has 2 plate armor merchants but not a single chainmail armor merchant (even though 2 chainmail using classes start there).
