Breastplate of The Night - Problems with proc :(

For any SK who took the time to go get this bp, it's a nice bp...except for the damn proc. Can the proc on this be made into a right clicky? That way we're not pissing off enchanters by unintentionally breaking mezzes with this thing?

Also, when it procs, Engulfing Darkness is overwriting Dooming Darkness (higher level spell).

Please please PLEASE make it a right clicky? At 52 I have not had the opportunity to find a better bp, yet, so replacing it is not an option. (I'd hate to carry a second bp around for just those times when there's a chanter or bard mezzing) Plus I like the black look. It's very fitting for a Shadow Knight to wear black.

I realize everyone is "all done" with the Starfall stuff and it's old news, but if you could look into this it would be much appreciated. For the most part, all of the Starfall items are bonuses, with no real drawbacks, but I've had more than one enchanter be mad at me about the bp. I wasn't even sure that it was my proc that broke it, but the proc was still going...so it probably was me. :-/

I've already said no on this topic, the answer is still no. The proc stays.

Can the proc be looked into so that it's not overwriting a higher level spell then? (ie Engulfing Darkness > Dooming Darkness)

As long as it's gonna be there, it would be cool if it's not going to overwrite a spell that does 2x the damage. I'll start shopping for a new one, but I'm sure there's other SK's who have this problem as well.
