Rare drop warrior chest piece in Cmalath basement. Level 60+ & some AA's area.

Has the self buff level 19 druid spell BARBCOAT on it. It currently gives 2AC and a 2 point damage shield.

Cite 1: The WR spell site has barbcoat listed as +10AC and +2DS

Cite 2: Most other rare class bp's there, that I have seen, have level 24-34 spells on them.

REQUEST: Is the clicky not giving the proper stats and, if it is, can it maybe be bumped up a bit to be in line with the other procs/effects?
 
Hey there, I see what you mean about the spells, that effect is terrible IMO.

However how do the stats compare with other BP drops in that area? For example, could we see a link or two for comparison? This just means maybe your BP has nicer stats to compensate for the lower level spell, just an idea. ;)
 
The BP stats there are ballanced per class so they are all practically equal in that regard. And only about half of them have even dropped because they are quite rare, only 3 or 4 chances to drop every 2 hours or so.

Shaman BP has free canni 4 clicky on it (shaman gloves have free cripple btw).

Rogue BP has a 180-200hp~ life tap

Cleric BP has steelskin on it. Which in estimating is about a 200hp rune.

Warrior has +2 armor class (1252ac -> 1254ac) and +2 damage shield.
 
Hold up. The rogue BP has a process of a lifetap DOT. Thats not the same thing as a lifetap and far less useful. Id take a clicky Barbcoat any day. It stacks with everything! And in terms of AC on buffs, the spell file and clientside are out of sync is my guess. I know the level 65 Druid shielding spell is +200 AC, but it does not show up as 200 AC clientside.

The druid AC+dmgshield line is really incredible, and what makes the BP all the more uber is that you can use the effect and swap it. (Which is not the case on the rogue/ranger/etc BPs.) And please keep in mind that even though 2 DS is of minimal value, it Adds to agro generation as if the warrior did the damage. (I would hope all warriors can appreciate more agro.)

(For another counter argument, out of all the tanks only shadowknights have self damage shield (as far as I know.) So increasing warrior stacked damage shield above 5 would lessen the value of the SK spell.
 
Are there any like "Godly" items in WR? Like, an extremely rare and difficult item to obtain that outmatches all others? Be nice competing for such a thing as an added flavor to the existing set. :p
 
As far as damage shields generating aggro that was removed like close to a year ago :brow: Unless it was changed back sometime and I missed it.
 
Hmm, I heard they were changed back and forth a few times. They currently count as damage you do.
