I came to SoD to try and play casually with some friends. Unfortunately, my brother quit pretty much right away, and now my best friend has health problems which prevents him from playing. I am and will always be a hardcore gamer (even when my job tries to prevent that!) and it is very hard for me to play games casually (especially an MMO). I am a completist and a perfectionist, and for me, I get irritated when I do not do things efficiently (both in real life and in the gaming world). I just do not have the time for this as I am trying to buy my first house and am trying to put lots of hours into my new job, as well as my actuarial exams. I will not be quitting (misewell keep the account running since it is free), but my play time is going to be severely cut back.
I love the SoD community and this server rocks, so I will try and pop in as often as I can, just not as much as I have over the past month. Hopefully most of my friends read the forums, but if not, I will be dropping people tells in game during my spare time. Better to cut back on this addiction before I get into the high end again (grats no social life).
