Brass Modifiers

Brass modifiers do not affect focus songs (DD/DoT) and I believe this is working as intended, but how come brass modifiers affect the attack portion of Song of the Blademaster but not the damage shield portion (and not sure on stats as I max out either way). I just wanted to make sure that the damage shield is not supposed to be affected by brass mods and if there are any other songs that are not affected by brass mods. If they aren't supposed to be affect (for whatever reason) can this be changed? It seems that our songs have been made so that instrument mods will affect them, if we have songs with a lower base that aren't affected by mods, can the base be adjusted?

Other songs with a DS component are affected by mods, just fyi.

Also, is Ervaj's Lost Composition working properly now? When I cast it on myself to see how much it drains, my mana does not move. It is also a brass song, so I am curious if maybe it just doesn't work on PCs.

It doens't work on yourself but I believe that it does affect other people. I remembering dueling someone and it was taking off a small amount of mana. I think personally it could use a little buff on how much mana it drains though tbh.
 
According to my spell parser its base is 220 and with my mod should be well over 600 a tick, unless this is yet another song not affected by mods.

Anyway an Admin could list songs not affected by mods or songs that are only partially affected by mods? Thanks!
 
Yeah, that seems pretty good, but I wasn't sure if it was working since it didn't affect me at all. Does your parser have different numbers for it? Brass mods are pretty :( if they don't affect many, if any of ours songs. How can you tell which songs are not affected by 100% of the modifications?

Back to my original question, can Song of the Blademaster's non hate components be affected by a mod (other then just attack)?

No one has a list of songs/effects affected by brass modifiers? Would really love to know why only certain components of songs are, if any at all.
 
Can anyone look at the bard mana drain song to make sure it is working properly? It does not affect myself when I use it on myself (testing purposes only) and the last few cleric mobs I have fought seemed to actually get more mana instead. :psyduck:

It works, but is probably much slower than intended. I've mezzed and drained a number of mobs in the past
 
Allielyn told me the same thing, but I was curious if there was a recent (or at least in the passed few months) change that may have altered how this song works. Also still curious to see if brass mods affect this song. It took my group about 10mins to kill a WW cleric dragon just because it only went oom after CH'ing numerous times (all the while I was chain draining it). It was quite annoying.
