Bracer of Everburning Flame

I was wondering what the effect was on this bracer is, it was FT 1 , but seems to have been changed to :

Effect: Elemental Ally (Combat, instant).

Can anyone tell what this is and does?

Spell parser lists it as 'Summon Pets' so it seems like its meant to have achance to summon a pet whenever you cast a spell, but wrist slot procs are broken so it's not going to work.

Interesting that they would change Ft1 to this effect, as it is a caster item, and all those class have pets. Hmm maybe it is a short lived pet, and you can still have your mained pet too.

If you didnt notice a large amount of mana was added when the FT was taken off and the proc was added in.

The proc gives a 15% chance to summon a swarm pet (Stacks with your normal pet) to rush your target. Bracer procs will be in soon I am assured.

This gives it a bit more flavor than just being a miniature fedraz but still makes it viable as a high end bracer.

I thought wrist procs were supposed to go off only if attacking in combat.

I admit the idea is cool as hell Wold but maybe it would be more appropriate for a clicky for le swarm pets w/ a recast timer close to what normal aa swarm pets are (possibly longer)

Iirc wrist procs were supposed to trigger when you cast.
