BP procs on resists

Can spell bp procs be made to proc on resists as well as spells that land? I suppose it would follow that if weapons and wrists can proc on misses and resists that BPs could go off too.

weapons don't proc on misses only buff procs like R:bow can proc from a miss IIRC. this might have changed.

but ya the whole BP proc thing on resists would be nice.

Weapons have always been able to proc from misses. Even if the NPC isn't damageable by melee (think Farg adds) your weapon will proc against it.

Do BP procs scale in some way based on the spell landing on you then? I see fairly predictable procs from mobs that chain lures on me, and then no procs from chain resisting mobs.

I was just echoing what zaela told me ages ago.

my apologies if this was incorrect.

They don't actually. If you COULD have done damage, it procs. But it will never proc on a real miss.

The confusion sets in, in that if damage is mitigated enough, it may show up as a miss.

It still might be nice to proc on DD detrimental resists because it's kind of awkward to have the rest of your gear work hard to stop your bp from proccing.
