Boots of Chilling Armor effect

Hi,

I'm curious if the effect on those boots is intended to be that way:

Boots of Chilling Armor
From SoDWiki

MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP
Slot: FEET
AC: 15
Effect: Chilling Armor (Combat)
STA: +15 CHA: +6 WIS: +3 AGI: +8 HP: +65 MANA: +50
Mind Shield +3%
Stun Resist +3%
Required Level of 50.
WT: 1.5
Size: SMALL
Class: RNG ROG SHM
Race: ALL

Chilling Armor is a buff according to spellparser:

Increase Armor Class by 25
Increase Damage shield by 3

So shouldnt it be a clickie? And if not, it needs to be looked at, cause it never seems to proc on kicking.

Thanks for reading ;)

I'm gonna guess that no, it is intended to be a combat proc, considering 25 ac and DS clickys are pretty damn rare.

afaik it DOES proc, but it procs on the mob (this obviously is a bug).

OK I may have missed that, it goes to my main battle spam atm. Will change that and have a look. On the other side, Im sure I wouldnt miss a DS on a kobold or cyclops, so I still think it doesnt proc. Anyways, it doesn't seem to work as intended.

It probably procs on the mob but doesn't take hold, just as if you casted a DS on an NPC the NPC would not have that DS if you attacked it.

I know for a fact mine have NEVER proced... but then I don't get kick.

Does it stack with a Druid's self AC/DS bramblecoat line? I think rangers get that one. Because if it does not, then the bramlecoat is probably better, thus making it not seem to proc on the one class that can proc it.

This item is/was actually bugged and I did buglist it ingame before. It actually does proc, but it goes on the enemy and holds. Therefore, you will give the enemy a DS if you use these boots in combat (which is very testable).

So I played around with filters today and filtered my spells to a new, unused window. OK up to now it's only like 45 minutes, but it didn't proc once.

So will this be looked at? Imo, you may as well just remove the effect, the boots are pretty good even without it. But if the effect is shown in the descreption, it should work in a way ;)

I cleared the buglist last night, and approved this petition because they do in fact proc, they simply proc on the mob, so yes, it's known.
