Boat Spam

It would seem that when both the boat between Newport and Erudin, and the boat between Newport and Freeport, arrive in Newport at the same time, there is a little battle between the 2 boats. The fill the chatbox with spam (picture included... 20 messages in a 2 minute period), and then its anyone's guess which one will be on top when they reach the dock. I believe they are BOTH at the dock at the same time... one inside/on top of the other. Just wondered if there was a way to adjust their timing a bit so they won't arrive at the same time.

Can't you target the boat to find out which one it is? Won't help the spam but you would know which boat you were jumping aboard.

Actually, no, that wouldn't help really.

The situation he's describing seems to occur when one of the Newport-Erudin boats and one of the Newport-Freeport boats are at the "boat zone in" location in South Newport, which seems to trigger Travel Master Fedrig's shout. In this situation, it's fairly common where both boats will be at the dock at the same time, so while you could click what is essentially both boats, it wouldn't let you know which boat is leaving next, if you'll be pushed onto the leaving boat, pushed back onto the boat that will be leaving second, or even into the water when one leaves the dock.

If one boat were to reach the dock and leave before the other boat got to the dock, then that would be ideal, and Tyrone's suggestion would be sufficient, but in this case, the spam and the task of getting on the boat you want to be on can be frustrating.

Yep. I forgot to mention the frustrating part of praying that the boat you are specifically waiting for, ends up as the boat on top, as both boats reach the dock at the same time. In the instance that you are waiting on one of the Newport-Freeport boats, and its one of the Newport-Erudin boats that is the top boat, you're stuck waiting another cycle for the next boat to arrive, which can be quite a wait. And yes, I have also had the fun experience of being bounced off the correct boat at the zone line, only to either land on the other boat (NOT the one I wanted) or just splash into the water. I spend a fair amount of time in Newport, and I see this spam ALOT, so I'm guessing this is happening to more folks then just me.

Plus, the spam kinda sucks when you are actually needing to see the other chat in the window.
