I'm not sure if it's me doing anything wrong (if I am, tell me please!) but this little mammoth doesn't seem to be spawning when he should!

Well, as I was told to do by some people, I started killing all the mammoths on track that I could find. I went over the whole zone, twice, and went and kept running around looking for mammoths while a friendly gnome waited and watched to see if Bloodtusk spawned (I also checked down in the SE corner with track to make sure) but 2-3 hours later he was still not around.

I tried again the next day, doing the same thing, he still didn't spawn and I made sure I did a very thorough tracking search this time for mammoths and I still got nothing after waiting for a hour, except for one mammoth spawning roughly... every 45-60 minutes around where Bloodtusk apparently spawns.

I also tried again not too long ago and nothing then either. Am I missing something, does this thing no longer spawn? Is he elsewhere? I don't mind having to camp a spawn but he hasn't even spawned yet! :(
 
He's an adept, he has a day or two respawn timer and then supposedly if you kill the juvenile mammoths he'll spawn. I just killed him yesterday for the third time since we came back up so yes he does spawn but give it a day or two and be prepared to have a group back you up killing him. His engage level is 30.

EDIT: and the name's Goretusk, not Bloodtusk

I heard he was an undead lady who lives in west badlands river. and the name's The River Hag, not Goretusk.

let me cut through the bullshit...Bloodtusk for the ytraz, spawns rarely in EW. He is spawned by killing the mammoths. I forget exactly where but I got mine closer to the bridge and SE area. He ultra rarely drops his heart, some have got it on first try. It took me 39 times to get mine :brow: Keep looking brotha...

Yea, that's exactly it...This is for Ytraz and he's not an adept. Has anyone managed to get it to spawn recently?
 
I'll confirm that he's found near the bridge, a little southwest of it actually. Just keep killing mammoths on track and you'll get it. Dont know if its been spawned recently (someone was camping it a few weeks ago, dunno if he ever got it) but I would assume it wouldnt matter. Just keep killing stuff.

Oh and I got heart first try :p
 
oh.... looks like I'm sticking my foot in my mouth on multiple forums at once today... just ignore me.... mammoth, tusk, I was obsessing over goretusk for a while...
