Bloodletter quest

Ive been working on the Bloodletter quest lately but cant find the original mace piece from First Ruins. If you know what camp/vicinity it drops at, who drops it, or even what the mace is called, please let me know. So far ive cleared everything in the zone down to the undead tower 3 times (including the secret tunnels) and no drop yet...so Im thinking it may drop elsewhere :?, although 2 people have told me they remember it dropping in the city. Any little bit of help would be great

PS- please dont post other questions bout the quest right now, ill post guide when im done kthanks .

Hmmm... Who is this Hanjal fellow?

Are we quite certain the cave system she is talking about is the First Ruins? Yeah.. probably...

But this Hanjal guy, was he a magic-user? Is he still alive? If so!!! Talk to him! If not... is he an erudite? Then he'd be a magic user (probably), which would make him (assuming his undead self still has the mace) a casting mob.

But maybe some uber mob took the mace from him and he's just part of the dirt now.

So many questions....

Hanjal is not who you're looking for, he's dead; what you need is the mace (it was possibly stolen from his dead, rotting corpse :brow: )
As for if First Ruins is the right place--100% positive; told so by Wiz and few others said the piece dropped there but don't remember details as it was a long time ago.
