Is there any logical reason why it has bst/rng/rog/brd/war on it but not monk?
I get that it says "blade"storm essence, but then why is bst on the item? Seems wrong that monks can't use it.
 
There are tons of items with (seemingly) random class options. Unless the Dev that created the item is around, and decides it was a mistake or agrees with you, it wont change.
 
And many h2h weapons are "claws", which would be bladed. As monks use those also, seems strange they aren't included.
 
IDK I agree with Tev, BST feel a lot more like a blade class than a monk. I think of monks punching things. I think of BST bashing/stabbing them with clubs and spears. There are items that every class wishes they could use but they cant.
 
Honestly if anything it would make sense to take beastlord off of the item. Every class on there uses slashing weapons (that's why druid's can use it) except beasts, who get piercing, but so do all the int casters so yeah who knows
 
difference is beastlords are an intended melee class casters arent. i think the items fine. beasts use a lot of daggers to which are blades.
