Ok i was wondering if anyone can confirm, the parser says the recourse gives 3% to spell damage, but wiki says its 48%. Any help is much appreciated.
 
Rari worked VERY hard on the wiki spell parsing. It is the definitive guide to SoD spells and their effects. It's allowed us to catch humorous mistakes in many spells, and should be assumed right in 99% of circumstances.
 
Just to mention when this spell lands it still says Bitter Coldr recourse. Unneccessary "r" in cold just thought i'd point this out.
 
Keep in mind when looking at the wiki spell parses that player spells and AA effects have been freshly parsed, but many many item effects and NPC spells still need to be updated. I know someone went through while I was on vacation for three days and edited like 30 of them. I'm going through those first and actually parsing them with my parser, then... hopefully the rest will get done in time. If someone needs to see something specifically reparsed, just let me know (there are three copies, including my own, of my parser active atm.)
 
Doing some of my own tests on this I found out that Bitter Cold doesn't really add up to 48% DoT dmg increase rather a number between 22-23% DoT dmg increase. If you guys could check this out and report back with an exact number that would be amazing. I made sure to take off affliction 7 items to make sure that was not effecting the percents as well.

idk what to say - unless the % is being modified outside of the spell (an internal number) i can't explain the numbers you came up with, bob. the number given (48%) is a fixed number, there is no scaling in the line from spell_us. that being said, its entirely possible that there is some other factor outside of the parsable information available in spells_us.txt (this was the case for Banshee Aura, for example.) anyway, that's all i've got.
