Best mid game(35-55ish) solo area for necro?

Because I'm wanting to reenter the game world at large, and I'm uncertaint of my finding groups within the limited ammount of time that I'd have, I wat an answer to this one.

Given that my toon is a necro, and i'm more or less restarting after a nine month break. where would be the best place for me to go to gain xp?

at 35 i think you can start to solo spectres (protip: use fear) and when you get up to your 40s into your 50s do the dragon necropolis yard trash and move into lasanth for some serious soloing

Also visit Kaladim every now and then, up to your 40ies it's ok XP as well as Yaralith and from 50+ go to FP.

oh yeah, as soon as you hit 55 go to freeport and charm solo

go into skele illusion form, find an undead monk, charm it and kill everything you can

its risky and takes a little practice to get good, but once you have the skills to do it you will level up faster than you could imagine

Early fourties here so I suppose its off to the necropilus I go.

Now then, since it would appear that I'm close-ish to this being something to concern myself with. Which should I try factioning with, giants or dragons? Which drops caster relevent materials when killed? Oh and due to my character's odd viewpoints related to his class, why were the dragons allied with kaazul?
