Best advice for a newbie?

I'm just starting out and was wondering what is your best advice for a newbie?

I've made three characters, a Half-Elf Bard, a Halfling Paladin, and a Gnome Enchanter... Just thought I'd mention that incase you guys had any good class specific tips.

Play the game. Enjoy it.

I dunno that there's much else to say. There's not much hand-holding that goes on around here. Like other related games, there is no specific best race/class combo, but some classes are in high demand in the late/raid game. If I'm to understand correctly, Bards, Clerics, Wizards and Rogues that get to the high levels can always find spots in guilds. Warriors can to a lesser degree, and some say Enchanters are needed as well. Note however if you want to end up in a decent guild, you need to be able to play your class well, not just have the levels... there will always be guilds who will gladly take anyone of any class if they get high enough to help with zerging.

Anyway.. have fun... it's a GREAT place to play.

Yeah, I've played a few games that have lead me straight to max level lately. Quite boring. I read about this game the other night, and have been extremely interested in it since, just like when I started playing EQ for the first time.

Honestly, I don't care if I'm wanted in the end game, as long as I'm enjoying myself.. This game seems like it has lots of potential, I wish I knew about it sooner!
