Beastlord Tome idea

A tome that enables their pets to Disarm? maybe other classes too? but i think it would be cool if BST pets could disarm things. obviously not as good as say a tank or something could. but you know what im saying!

This would be ok I guess but it has to be able to be turned off, because some mobs get REALLY cranky about being disarmed.

If we're brainstorming new ideas for tomes, I'd like to bring back the short-duration, cooldown-enabled soft enrage that pets on live had at low health. Pet survivability has been a critical raid issue for beastlords forever, and this would be a much more useful tool than a disarm.

i'd propose maybe making it so only the the level 64 pet or the runic pet could do it, and then it would be situational like the druid Murk pet, where you obviously dont want it out when there's mezzing going on.

High Myrmidon, anyone?

Just that beastlords ALLWAYS have their pet out because it is a substantial part of their DPS, while druids usually get laughed at (or yelled at, depending on mez..) when they pop out their pet.

Aye i know, thats why i was saying maybe put it on a lower level than what would usually be used pet, maybe whatever is under 64. so for fights like say Kharth where you need to disarm him like mad, you'd sure give up a bit of DPS but you'd gain Disarm in return, idk maybe its just another silly idea =)

Beastlords already need to cast something like 4 or 5 spells and 3 clickies to summon and buff their pet. I'd much rather see this as another stance you can turn on and off.

Pet survivability really isn't an issue with runic2 pet.

I cast pet haste item, 3 specific petbuffs on my pet and then I require the mage to give me pet armor, and raid to rebuff him so that he is max dps output. Other than that I also equip him with cita weapons. So every such event would not only cost me a shitload of dps, it would cost quite a bit of time and also like 50pp or so. And going from 200 dps to like 50 and 35k hp to 5k hp or so does'nt sound very nice at all.

If it worked this way I wouldn't buy this tome ever. Also It would be among the last tomes I'd spend 80 aa's on even if it was possible to turn on and off with a /cm.
