Beastlord AA: Spirit Speed

I didn't see a topic for this, so making my own to post a couple of ideas.

1) Release Spirit: Consumes the Spirit of ___ spell off of the BL pet, and either does a harmtouch-like spell for burst damage, or a group major heal if spirit of soothing was active.

2) Magnify Spirit: Copies Pet proc buff raid-wide onto all non-swarm pets for a small duration.

3) Condense Beast: Significantly shrinks beastlord pet making the pet much more difficult to hit: gives major ac/dodge/mitigation boost for situational tanking - increased agro rate as well?

4) Play dead: Beastlord pet 'faints' similar to monk FD. Pet will automatically jump back up once spell duration is over. Could be fun with situational pulling or saving pet to get a heal landed... try to ensure it is never a reliable splitting tool.

5) Carnivore: Once activated, each hit on a non-undead creature will provide a % of damage dealt heal towards beastlord pet - effectively pet is taking bites of flesh out of the target... could be paired with a nifty Raptor illusion as well.

Thanks for listening!

Spirit speed

Savage frenzy - Once cast gives the beastlord and his pet attack power bonus for the longer they are in combat as thier rage grows. The longer the beastlord and his pet are in combat larger the attack bonus becomes.

Omakin's Ward (12s duration, 15m cooldown) - upon activation, reduces beastlord and pet's hate by 50% on all mobs who have the beastlord or pet on its hate list. Also places a buff on the beastlord's current player target. For the next 12s or while the buff is active, 50% of hate resulting from any damage done from the beastlord or pet is transferred to the buff recipient.

Comments: Does little or nothing for soloing beastlords (where beastlords are by and large fine), but gives them an agro dump they sorely need, plus a shorter but slightly more potent single target version of the SK Veil of Marlow spell.

I approve this is a good idea

Thumbs up

I love you. I mean, welcome to Costco. I mean, yeah, this is a pretty good idea.

That could actually benefit soloing beastlords, too... use the buff on your pet to transfer aggro to the pet (the initial 50% reduction does nothing as it's uniform, but for 12 seconds the beastlord's aggro is transferred to the pet), or use it on yourself to take 50% of the pet's aggro onto yourself. In fact, either of these uses could be employed in small groups to help pull aggro off of someone squishier than yourself (concentrating your aggro + your pet's onto one or the other).
