I was wondering if i could get a list of the files needed for SoD and only to be able to play SoD. I'm trying to shrink my directory down from 5gb. I've deleted alot of the DoH OOW DON. But i'm not sure about some files if any one could post a list of only whats needed for SoD i'd be very happy thank you :D
 
You are fully aware that this list would include over 1000 files?

If you're desperate, delete the entire directory, and only patch up through LDoN.

I think you got some junk in there.
look for .txt and some other huge files that may be logs.
Also check the UI folder

I droped it down to 2.5 or so now I think. I'd still like that list if any devs have it or any thing tho:D Thanks
 
Just do a fresh install & patch to LDoN, then copy over stuff you want from your current directory, like ini files, UI files, whatever.
 
Check if you're caching textures.

They end up huge. System will run a bit slower (zone times, etc), but you'll save the space.

but really.. 300gb HDs are like.. cheap... and it would benefit you more then justfor SoD.
 
If I understand Craleu's reason for doing this - it's not about the hard drive space. It's more for efficiency/running with only the files needed (less bloat).

I too would be interested in the file list - this could easily be made into a batch file that would assist in the SoD directory cleanup.
 
I would do this, but what if we add a zone not currently used? You'd then have to re-patch entirely and then patch here again. A fresh re-install to the required expansions would clean it up to around 2.5gb, a far cry from the 5gb you're currently using.

thats right. Thats what i'm doing
I have a 160GB and a 60GB I just want to kill some of it. :D
