To start off, I really enjoyed playing a bard on EQlive before I quit over a year ago, so I'm not exactly a newb at playing a bard (although I am very new at playing WR)
The very first thing I noticed playing a bard in WR is that when playing a song in a fight, the spell casting timer disappears if anything happens, ie. being hit, using sense heading, hitting the monster. The song itself is not interupted, just the casting timer disappears as if the song is interupted. (this was a bug I lived with on EQlive for a long time, I believe they fixed it about the time that LoY came out)
I'm not posting this to the bug forum because I really dont believe it is that important (it's still very possible to play a bard effectively on WR). It would just be alot easier to twist songs if the casting timer worked right for bards.
If this is something I need to change on my comp, and someone knows how to fix it, please let me know. Otherwise, I would greatly appreciate it if this bug could be fixed (Hopefully the code for this isn't too complicated)
