Bard song messages and pulsing spam

When singing a bard song constantly (no twisting), I get messages every pulse for the effect wearing off and affecting me again. The same for DOTs on MOBs. Would it be possible to change this to not show these messages when a song is simply overwriting itself?

The same issue applies when twisting; dual messages for whatever song is being invoked each pulse.

I know I can turn off the song messages, but I do want to see when songs really do wear off.

I know what you mean Guairdo. Needless bard spam.

I'll also expand and say I'd love to be able to turn off songs on group members. Nightmare group for bard spam right now is a full group heavy with pet classes. I can't remember what the live solution to this was, but I remember being able to see messages with important breaks, your mez wore off, your charm wore off, your snare wore off and such without the amount of bard spam I get on WR.

Temporary fix for my own sanity has been to send wore off messages to its own window and keep it minimized. Of course, this also hides the important your mez/charm wore off messages too which isn't optimal.

If anyone has any tips on how to minimize bard spam I'd love to hear em'
