Bard Picklock

I created a low level Bard and have tried to increase his skill in Pick Lock. The Bard guildmaster says that Level 10 is the level to learn the skill and I have "Trained" and "Learned the Basics of Pick Lock".

However, I never have actually gained any skill increase from training. I talked to the merchant in the Bard guild that allows you to train in the Twisted Palm Rogue Guild and have access to the practice doors in their guild. When I use the picklocks it does not register that I have any skill, learned or practiced, in Pick Lock.

Is this some sort of bug or is there something else I need to do?

I figure it may be a bug since I have used like 10 training points in Pick Lock and, again, have learned the basics, but I have no skill. Also, in my training menu it still says "Pick Lock: Level 10" like I never trained in the skill. And I am above level 10.

Many times....going from Bard Guild to the Rogue Guild, from SNP to NNP and back.

For some bizarre reason it's set to level 40 in the serverside skillcaps. I'll fix this.

As it turned out, bard server side caps for pick lock, disarm traps and sense traps were all set way higher than they should be. syduck:
