Heya,
currently I find that charm for a Bard at Level 65 is pretty useless: Our last charm is a level 39 song with lvl 54 max charm, which rocked for as long as it worked but at 65 you rarely fight anything that you can charm still.
Correct me if i am wrong, but chanters can charm up to level 63 mobs and yes they should be alot better on that than bards for sure, but upping the max charm level a few level like up to lvl 60 or so would make it usable again in certain situations at least.
I used charm alot at lower levels, especially to support CC so that i have to keep less mobs mezzed. But this cant be done anymore now =( . Bard mezz is alot worse than chanter mezz already because you have to recast it so often to keep the mobs mezzed.
This is just my opinion and I would like to hear what others, especially other bards, have to say to this. Im sure that many will like the idea of a slightly higher level charm, and I don't think it would overpower bards in any way. Our mezz is already quite crippled compared to chanters.
