I was wondering if the actual casting of bards was still in progress. As it is now when I sing a song I will sometimes get 1 messege saying they have resisted but it works, or I will get 2 messages saying it resists and it doesn't work. And on rare occasions nothing saying anything and it doesn't work. And with some such as Selo's Consonant Chain the only time I know it is working is when it tells me it wears off.

When you first cast the song it hits and has a chance to be resisted/successful, it is then added to the melody. The melody pulses right after the casting is finished if the pulse was to occur in the time you were casting.
Your song lands if you get any message saying "X is ____" or whatever.
