Barbarian innate crit????

Barbarians used to have an innate 1% chance to critical strike, however, the tome of knowledge racial stats page AND the wiki page no longer include this.

Was it removed entirely or does it still exist?

I've got a barbarian beastlord who has gone from 1 to 30, soloed most of the way, and hasn't had a single critical yet.

Is it possible it's not working properly or is broken?

Well this one guy says it is and this other guy says it's not and I don't do so well with conflicting information. I was going to make a barbarian but now I'm confused.

btw hi.

There are still people who suggest you need crit aas to benefit from +Crit gear so.... wouldn't be surprised if hes just wrong.

Make a barbarian then, I can assure you that you will NOT crit until you get critical strike from AA's or an item.

My barbarian Beastlord now has +crit item (thurg neck piece and yes I'm at the recommended level to use it) but no crit AA's (not high enough).

After a good couple of hours of grinding he still hasn't had a single critical, not one. Please don't say "He must have, that's impossible!" because I've got a seperate chat window to only display the Melee Critical filter. If he crits, it will show in there.

Is it possible the innate crit is actually broken for Barb Beastlords? And what about criticals from items?

Looking at the Racial Traits post made by Wiz here: http://forum.shardsofdalaya.com/showthread.php?t=5072 :which was updated in March 2012 (barb wiki page was last updated in 2010: http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php?title=Barbarian&action=history).

It shows there is no innate crit for barbarians at all and even some of the other races are different to the wiki.

I'm really confused because players are saying one thing while server staff are saying the complete opposite.

My lvl 55 barbarian beastlord has +3 critical from items. I can see crit msg in every battle in GD harthuk.
(Main hand weapon is 10 delay , secondary weapon is around 20 delay. Haste is around 30%)

Okay here's the whole situation:

It appears that when racials went in, some ended up only being added to work against other clients, as opposed to NPCs; A small oversight which is easy to make based on how damage is handled. This will be corrected next patch.

As for the effects of innate, AA, and worn crit chances, none of these require each other to function. Innate bonuses to crit always work, worn Critical Strike on gear is scaled to the recommended level of the gear in relation the character, and AAs always work as long as you've purchased said AAs.

So has this been fixed?

I ask because there is a lot of confusion, and neither myself, nor other people have noticed any difference with racial innates.

From the conversations I've seen, some people have reported:
-Barbarian classes other than warrior, don't critical at all.
-Dwarf classes other than warrior & paladin, don't critical while indoors.
-Dark Elves classes aren't getting melee criticals at night.

I don't know about the other races with innate criticals, as nobody else has said anything about them, and I don't play any of those races.

And one last question: Do the innate spell critical bonuses some races receive, also affect heals? (I think I know the answer but I just want to be certain).
