Hello! I am new to SOD and I just registered. My forum account seems to work perfectly but when I try to log in the game, I get the Bad username error message. I tried to change my password to test if the account really exists and I successfully changed my password several times. Is there a way to confirm that my account is really registered to the server?

Two things:
One did you patch?
Two check your eqhost file to make sure it was
Username not working usually means not being pointed to right place to sign in.
