Bad username/pass

Checked the FAQ and rechecked my eqhost file, but for some reason cant get past the username/password screen, would appreciate any help given

You get the message your password or accountname would be wrong ?
Had the same problem , but tried to write everything small and it worked.
Simply write your account-name and passwort in small letters.

Tried making an all lower case user/pass, no luck, as always any help will be appreciated, really hoping to join you guys

ummm very strange ... nearly as strange as my dwarfs problem ;-)

but i didnt mean to make a new account ...
i created my account also with capital letters

my password does just consist of a combination of
two important pin-numbers ... just numbers

i did get the message the account or password would be wrong
then i tried to write my account name just in small letters

and it worked ...

dont know why yours is not working if everything else is fine ?

dont know if this could be the problem , but is your firewall on ?
and any component of the game blocked ?

maybe you should give it a try , to deactivate the firewall and try it again
(and try again with the small letters in the login screen , no matter which account youre using)
just to see if a component of the game still has no permission to connect to the internet


if it still does not work ... i really don't know where the problem could be

Just to make sure... You have created a SoD account, right? You're not trying to log-in using the Other Game account info?

My SoD account is the same as my forum account right? Or is there another account I need to make I missed, cause that could be it

Nope, they're different entities. You need to fill this form to get a SoD account. Make sure to read the startup guide, else you won't be able to play.
