Bad treasure map spots

Edit: I'm changing the focus of the thread to include other bad or buggy spots for treasure map digs. Maybe we can get some of these changed/fixed.

Is there any way that t-map spot in the canyon on the island in Storm Seas could be moved or taken out? It's honestly the worst dig spot out there for a variety of reasons. Targeting is near impossible, many of the mobs spawn in the hill, etc.. I don't know how hard something like this is to alter in your code, but hopefully it can looked into, thanks.

Yeah, it was brought up monthes ago already, and even the devs concured that it was a terrible spot.
But still it seems low on the list of things to take care of.

Like Maf said it's been brought up allready. I totally feel your pain as every time we do a Map and it's in SS I cringe at the thought of it being in the center of the island..

Sea of Swords is annoying too, there's a dig spot on the tiniest rock ever out in the middle of the ocean.

There are many annoying spots: on top of my head all of Faentharc woods, the edge / base of the cliff spots in Wyvernfang, the hills in Everfrost... But nothing as bad as that crater, really.

Urgg that dam cliff edge in Wyvern... specialy the few times we have had mobs spawn off the edge and they start bouncing up and down so no one can target them :(
 
Try to /loc it and include in post, "that one treasure spot there" is kind of vague because there are dozens in each zone.
 
You cannot miss it: it's the dig point at the bottom of the crater in Storm Sea. There is only one, all the others are outside the crater. It's located very close to a trap that spawns elementals (annoying as heck as well ;)).
 
If I had to hide treasure, I'd put it in a spot no one wants to deal with either, then no one can steal my booty. ;)

I know you were mostly joking, but if the dig spots are buggy, they should be moved. If a dig spot is just a "pain in the ass" to get to, or requires you to dodge mobs wandering that zone, then it should stay as is. Having mobs spawn under the world or in walls/hills is a bad place for them, though.
 
Ok, basically every spot on a hill is a bad spot cause stuff can spawn under the world. Would it be possible to make all tmap mobs spawn like 20...higher then the spot of the digger, then fall to the ground or something to prevent under the world spawns.
