attempt at starting new

so as far as i can tell, i believe i have patched correctly, and ive been trying to connect,
i even made it to the server screen once
there was 2 servers 1 appeared to be the SOD main server
and the other appeared to be a dev server
but they where both locked, and i tried to join the chat and
got the message that it was congested.
when i check sever status on the SOD page, sometimes most of the zones seem to be up,
other times all but 1 was closed,
im not sure if im having some kind of issue, or SOD is atm, any response would be appriceated

Yeah, they had to do some maintenance, I think they said total downtime would be close to an hour, and it was scheduled to begin around 5:30pm EST. Of course, they may have had to start a bit later due to any number of things, and they may end up needing more time than 1 hour to finish it all, so the forecast isnt an exact prediction. Server will be up again very soon, and welcome to SoD, I hope you like it here
