Attack Next

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you for the change to pet discipline whereby the pet now switches target when instructed. This is a big improvement.

However ( you just KNEW there had to be a however) I do actually miss the ability to stack targets for my pet. Attack target B once target A is dead.

So my suggestion (if it is feasible) is to have a new pet command - Next Target - which would do what the old attack command did.

(Perhaps someone more skilled with macros than I am could tell me how I could create such a command)

Well not really.

Scenario 1
I am soloing 2 Mobs. I am going to root B and my pet is going to pick up A. Currently I can just cast root on B and hope to target A and send my pet before it reaches me. But in any event the pet will attack A when it starts to hit me. I can then retarget B and tell my pet to attack it when A is dead.

Scenario 2
A Mob is being tanked and my pet is attacking. An Add arrives and is picked up. I want my pet to auto switch to the add when the original Mob is dead.

Scenario 3
Multiple Mobs are being tanked and some are being mezzed off.

Scenario 4
Multiple Mobs being tanked - I wish to pick one that has already lost a good proportion of its hit points for my pet's next target.

I am sure there are more situations.
I am sure some of them can be overcome by attack B then switch back to A again.
I am sure the current situation is a HUGE improvement over the old.
I would still like to be able to simply select target B AFTER my pet is already attacking A ( and without it actually attacking B and breaking my root)

It would just be a nice to have from my point of view - not a game breaker.
