I started this Ranger years ago and recently picked him back up to play. I want to do this quest for the bow reward but Warden Tarval in Centaur Hills will not initiate the first quest for me.
I tried talking with Helleron of the Plains and he gives an option about asking him who was his son which has nothing to do with the text in the walkthrough. I also tried giving him the Thug's sashes but they were returned.
