Disclaimer: I know there will never be dyes. I agree with all arguments against dyes. I'm not asking for them.

That said, I'd like to request an NPC whom I can give my new wonderful piece of armor with XX(X)(X) platinum to have it decoloured. I don't relish the thought of having green pants, orange boobs, blue sleeves and aquamarine boots. Yes, I'm that silly. They're my boobs. I mean my plat.

This is, of course, just some spielerei for after all the important stuff gets done <3
 
Thats an excellet Idea, I will like to see that happen, really hated when I was inthe low lvls and had different color gear that made me look like a clown. maybe a command to take textures off, and also a command to hide helmets since I really dont like the way they do and know other people are bothered by them too.
 
I would absolutely LOVE a quest to hide my helmet, or to make all armor the same default color (silver for chain and plate, brown for leather), or in alternative to match the color of whatever chest piece I am wearing.... :D
 
Rainbow Rabb was the poster child for bad armor combination. He's not a proud member of Team Gold though.

In regards to the OP, I don't really see this happening. :(
 
how about client base, as you can hide helmet look when you look at other people, but everyone else will see you with helmet on, same with hiding the color texture of the armor so it will all look one color to everyone you see but just in that screen?

You can do that already, if im not mistaken. Open up the dye window and change the colors as much as you want, change the view back to what you usual use, then just hide the little dye window in the bottom corner out of sight. You will be able to see yourself with your new armor colors but everyone else will see you with regular colored armor. You haveto change it each time you zone also.
 
what if they may dyes around lvl 60ish and no drop so that the upper lvls can actually match their armor and dont have to worry about the lower lvls looking exactly like them
