Are the 209.172.32.20(game servers IP) and www.angrygamer.net in different country .I get 600~800ms delay with the the former and 200ms delay with the the latter
And most important thing is login servers need delay <500ms OR
i cant log to servers
so i wish to extand the respond time to 1000ms or greater
OR can Wiz shift server ip to www.angrygamer.net :keke:

by the way i believe there is something wrong because i think www.angrygamer.net
and game servers at the same place so i should get similar delay with the two :(

I have nothing to do with angrygamer.net, we just link to it. :hmph:

...different country then which?
if the two IP at same country the ping to servers should be nearly same i want to know any way tu reduce the ping
to game server so i can play the game well because connect to the game need ping below 500ms

Wiz can you make the respond time to 1000ms or greater at the section below :
[Thu Feb 01 20:10:46 2007]00154:wait_message(), (g_rdp=0x024ce158, g_world=0x00000000) before receive

[Thu Feb 01 20:10:56 2007]00155:wait_message(), after receive, msg is 0x00000000

[Thu Feb 01 20:10:56 2007]00156:*** ERROR: wait_message(), no message, bailing

[Thu Feb 01 20:10:56 2007]00157:*** ERROR: WorldAuthenticate. My message arrival was NULL, the net has been shutdown...
you can see just the g_rdp and g_world recieve time need to extend may 1000ms or greater it will work well

There are no words. :psyduck:

no words ?? :psyduck: can you make the respond time greater then 1000ms
that is mean the time between the signal sent out and the world message recieved

You want the latency to drop, 1000ms is bad.

And no Wiz cannot, get an ISP that provides high-speed internet access.

You expect me to somehow make your internet go faster from my position as the admin of an emulated server.

What should I do, head over to the relevant router and push on the packets with my hands?

Or are you asking me to edit the client? Either way it's impossible.

I'd pay to see that. *snicker*

lot of misunderstand
i wish you can edit the program to extand the recieve time
till now i can see the sever respond time is 500ms any longer then 500ms will not be reach to game server
increase the respond time not mean reduce your speed
1000ms = 0ne second it's not so long and for eg:
if you ping is 50ms you can get respond in 50ms
if it is 200ms it will respond in 200ms
but if it greater then 500ms it will no respond
so that it is the problem right now
and if it goes to 1000ms
i can get respond so i can play the game
the offical respond time is usually 3~ 4 second that is 3000ms or 4000 ms after then it will time out
but wiz one just 500ms time out

So I guess you want the respond time to go up so players with a higher ping have enough time to be connect?

I see, you want the period of time before timeout to increase. I'd love to do that, but it's hardcoded into the client. :(

yes that is all and i think wiz will work it out :keke:
china ISP can do nothing
i lay all my hope in this way :keke:

That means: no, wiz can't do anything about it.
Indeed lots of misunderstanding ;)
